I got a pair of ORA clowns on Tuesday. I put them in a tank with a molly that had been through a QT cycle with a firefish that had CP treatment before moving to the observation tank.

The ORA clowns I got with the firefish from the LFS died, so I decided to not treat CP (per @Humblefish suggestion) and just observe with the molly with this new set of clowns direct from ORA via LiveAquaria.

The clowns and molly looked fine. But this AM (Friday), molly is breathing heavily and just hanging at the surface and no longer interested in food. I can't see any obvious external parasites, but I am not that experienced looking for such things. Tail has been nipped. Not sure if it's just bullying or something else.

I have a treatment tank empty that can be spun up quickly. I have General Cure and CP if needed. What should I do?

Welcome to R2R

A first step to checking for parasites that may be causing the breathing problems is to do a freshwater dip to either confirm or eliminate flukes from the situation.

Hmm, I was just about to move to a treatment tank, since I have two tanks for my QT. Now, the molly looks normal. Swimming fine. Just ate some food. I wouldn't know there was an issue other than the nipped tail fin.
