Definitely some kind of anemone. Can't say the tentacles look like that of aiptasia, but better safe than sorry, I would toss it.

That second pic looks like a hydroid only because of the tentacle shapes. Its either that or aiptasia. Either one you do not want in your tank.

It is a Mogwai. Whatever you do, remember:

- Never feed it after midnight
- don't get it wet
- no bright lights

Maybe it's some other type of Hydroid.

Could also be a feather duster filter feeder of some sort.

When in doubt, flush it.
