Has anyone tested the par on the new or3 blue plus bars alone. Looking to get 2 150cm blue plus for some pop and night view. Just was wondering how much extra par I will get per light, don’t think it will be a ton was just wondering.

Not that I know what I'm doing but.....................Have 2 of the OR3 150's Blue+ mounted 12" above the tank. Getting 245-250ish at the top of the water and 82-85ish 20" below the waterline. Tank is 72"L x 24"W x 30"T.
Measurements taken using Apogee 510.

These don’t need a par test - they absolutely deliver !!

My tank is a few inches short than yours, but same L&W. Been looking at these for a while and would be nice to have more pop in the evening as well as extra pop to my regular lights. How are you running yours like power and timing whiles.

Running 6 Radion G4 pros front to back w/a modified AB+ schedule from 10AM to 10PM. The 2 OR3 Blue+ run from 9AM to 11PM. Thinking of adding 2 more OR3s.

You must have some high par reading especially if you add them 2 more bars but I bet it’s nice, if you could/ willing to pm a picture or so of the display tank that would be cool

You might try the uv ones or wait for the special blues that are not out yet.

Have not formally tested, but a single 3 foot OR3 blue bar added approxiamately 100 PAR to my tank about 10 inches below water level. OR3 is about 14 inches above water level.

I just put up a review, it can be found here:
