They have an extremely potent sting on other corals. Give it some space!

+1 give it lots of space! Those things like to put out their guts at night to sting nearby corals or even coralline! Nice pick up though! They're mean, but are so pretty and really glow under moonlights.

Nice finds!!! Zoa look like bam bams. I have a piece of acan like that and it is spectacular under the actinics.

Zoas look like a bam bam in pattern, but if thats an accurate color depiction they are far more orange. IMO those look much better than any most named zoas i see!

And yeah, definitely an acan echinata. Give it 4-6" clearance on all sides. I had one that was rainbowed, it nuked some xenia (thank god) and a acan lord (oh noes!) that were about 4" away. VERY potent stinger cells.
