New Pinwheels

Just got this frag in this weekend, managed to get a nice shot so I thought I'd share. Any experience out there with how fast these do or do not grow out?

Nice looking zoa
Moderate light and water flow
Feeding them brine or mysis shrimp should encourage growth

My pinwheels grow like weeds. To the point they have suffocated out some utter chaos I had mixed in with them! They are sharp though.

So when that happens, what do you do?? I want to encourage growth, but I don't want a tankful of pinwheels, or of anything else for that matter! Thanks!

I'm not a big fan of fiddlin' with zoas for obvious reasons, but I'll just yank the rock and scrape the pinwheels back to give some breathing room. If I can save the polyp I will throw it on a plug and see how it does then just hand it out to whoever wants it. They are really pretty though, so it's a good problem to have.

They are starting to creep towards these green zoas (I forget the name) though that are very big but aren't as prolific spreading so I'll have to fight the tide again. It looks like my super saiyan and armor of gods are gonna be good growers too, so hopefully I end up with a nice mix.

Food is sufficient
