New polyp thing

I was looking around my tank and in a small patch of hair algae i noticed a small polyp. Idk what it is but it seems to have tentacles like a war coral.

I'm thinking ball anemone. Pretty much harmless. Some consider them a pest but if kept in check are a pretty cool hitchhiker

Yup. Ball 'nem. Fairly innocuous, and won't get much bigger than 1/2". They tend to stay put once attached. I actually feed mine frozen brine.

Yep ball anemone. Not really an anemone but more in the lines of a shroom. Pseudocorynactis

I'd also check for a skeleton base. If it has a skeleton base I'd say a cup coral, if not I agree with others as a ball anemone.

Same, I have one tucked behind a rock, hasn't moved or replicated in almost three years.
