Hello,

Before i start to panic and tear apart my life to figure this out due to my OCD!

I yanked out two very old and crappy powerheads and replaced them with two programable wavemaker powerheads.

Once I placed them and turned them on the tank billowed with detritus and waste (no sand) from all over the rockwork.

As I came down this morning the tank is cloudy!!!! Thinking its just a minor bloom happening due to the major flow changes.

Fish are fine... in fact, they are all have been randomly going up in the water column swimming like Crush in the new EAC!

Should I try and increase the turn over rate into the sump? currently thats running at about 900GPH or so...

From my experience changing mine (I added a gyre and set it at 100%. Big mistake), I wouldn't rush to do anything just yet. Give it a few days to see how everything adjusts to the new flow.

Skimmer is on and i put in a 7 inch sock a few weeks back and change that out every 3-4 days. I can see the powerheads now.. but there is still a lot of dirty water. I did my regular 15% water change just to be sure. checked everything everything is in line where it should be nothing is out of whack. Likely a bloom.. ill just let er' rip!
