New protein skimmer

After having horrible experience with bubble magus curve 9. I am looking for new skimmer 300-400 gallon, must be super quiet!
The curve 9 was so loud! Sounded like a generator in the living room. I tried everything possible but nothing helped. By searching online I have found more people complaining about the same problem with the curve 9.

Please advise

Very happy with reef octopus elite, varios dc pump is quiet and adjustable, speed wise.

i 3rd the reef octopus elite, getting the 150 for my build.
i have always had great experience with reef octo skimmers

Aquamaxx is pretty solid. I just bought a DCS 280 myself. Skimz also highly recommended. Both offer features RO doesn’t like twist lock collection cup and adjustable airflow. Both very nice features

I have three different tanks one of them has a skimz protein skimmer the other two are Reef Octopus I can guarantee you The Reef Octopus skimmer that I have out performed the skims skimmer

The Elite RO do have twist lock collection cup

Never had a bubble King know they're super expensive I know that most people would also go with or say that Reef Octopus is best how would you rate your bubble King to a Reef Octopus just for my own info and curiosity I would imagine it at the price point they are they would have to be Stellar in performance
