What is the latest and thoughts on good DC pumps, I have owned Red Dragon in the past and it was excellent not cheap but worth it for practically silent operation, I have also owned Jebao (not bad, not good but cheap) and a Vectra pumps. The Vectra was good but not as quiet as a Dragon, so what are the options today.

:-)

I’ve never had a Current USA eFlux fail on me on two tanks across 8 years. Tunable, quiet and cheap.

Though, Current USA just announced they’re shutting down, support is being provided by saltwateraquarium.com, and their pumps are on heavy discount right now.

I LOVE sicce. For the money I find them the best.

I swapped out mine a few months back when I was looking for ways to run my tank quieter and the old pump died. I went with a second generation Aquamedic DC Runner. It meant I could buy a slightly over powered pump and dial it back with the controller. It has an app too, which is a bit ordinary, but I use it to schedule the pump to switch off for feeding. So far so good and I can't hear it.
