New quarantine tank help?

Starting a new qt and was wondering what medicines are being used with best results,
Prazipro,cupramine and what else?
What is considered to be a average time to quarantine a fish now too?
Sorry for the noob questions, this is my first qt, want to do it right, have had my but kicked by inch more than once!

The only medicine I use on every new addition is Prazipro, and that is only because the internal parasites it will take care of really are not visible. I QT for a minimum of 3 weeks and I try to go at least a full month. Should there be any signs of Ich, rather than using copper I will start TTM (Tank transfer method). This allows me to rid the fish of the parasite without any medication at all. I find copper to be more trouble than it is worth.
