New random insect wing looking things?

So. As you can see in the following video, im currently working on a green hair algae outbreak. The emeralds and sea hare and water changes making some headway.

Now i noticed these random clear insect wing looking things in the sand bed.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure. It looks a bit like small sea fans starting. If so, how cool is that for them to just show up in your tank!

Sea fans spontaneously showing up in my tank lol. This is why saltwater tanks are so interesting. You never really know whats happening next. Would love a positive id though to be sure

Yea that was what I was thinking but I have never seen them just show up in a reef or even be that small.

Not a sea fan or gorgonia...

Awesome...if they do well...let them multiply and "hitchhike" to other friends' aquariums .
Yes, please do keep us updated. I'm curious if these are creatures we can keep healthy long term in our tanks. Congrats on finding the new life!
