New Rasta Morph? from a buddy up North

So a close friend of mine from up North just sent me a photo of one of his Rasta frags that shows three rastas and two of them seem to have morphed...

I told him to grow out and see if the babies pop some more of the morphed rasta or regular rastas...

I thought it was pretty cool.

Pretty cool looking for sure if it is a morph, it looks like it may be bleached though.

They seem pretty far away from each other. Could they be different zoas or could it just be the lighting playing tricks?

This is the story... He has a few mini colonies on different plus. He assures me all of the rastas are from one original colony place on different plugs on different spots.

Time will tell if its a bleached out rasta or not depending on the babies they produce if any.

He will be taking more photos showing 10-18K pics and he will send to me so I can post too

I agree it looks bleached but why would only one from one side of the frag and not the single on the other side?

LED's are the devil lol, actually the optics used in LED's focus the light where corals like diffuse light. I'm thinking that side of the rock gets more light then the other side because of the uneven distrubution of light, the fixture will probably need to be hung higher or don't use lenses.

If a baby pops out and it shows the bleach coloration would it then be considered a morph?

The reason why he believes that it is not bleaching is because he has multiple frags of the oh rasta and none show this bleaching.
I'm waiting for him to email me the photos.

Well after seeing the day time pics I will have to vote Clorox rasta lol but the placement in his aquarium and to only see those two polyps so different perplexes me

I would have to say bleached as well prob left on the bottom of the rock and forgot bout it
