I just got the new razor 300w led.
Anyone have any ideas what I should start the settings out at? I know there are a lot of forums with setting but should I start out really low and ramp up over next several days?

You're definitely gonna want to do that. More like weeks though, not days. It may seem dim to you, but it won't to the corals. Just keep an eye on everything and go slow.

ramp up over the next few months. I upgraded last year, and went from a dual MH fixture. I lost a few pieces in the transition, a few chalice, and a couple acros. I didnt "acclimate" and probably should have. so, I would recommend it to you.

I'm still pretty new to this hobby. Any ideas on how to "acclimate" I have it set up right to ramp up and down. The peak I have set at 25% for now? Is that still to much?

Partly depends on what lights you are coming from. LEDs? Unless they were really weak you won't have to start so low. I went from a 120w Chinese to a 160w 16k, I started at 30/50 white/blue max. I upped it a couple percent about every 4 days. My current settings which are working well for me:
1. 830a w0 b0
2. 10a w0 b60
3. 12p w80 b95
4. 6p w80 b95
5. 8p w0 b95
6. 1130p w0 b0

And I think I ran the initial settings about 2 weeks to make sure I wasn't burning anything and let the corals get used to the new spectrum.

I have had my 300w for about a month. I started mine on the following settings spread over 12 hours. I alternate adding 1 or 2 percent every 3 days. And am currently adjusting the gap between channel a and b to 2 percent difference not the five I started with. My tank has zoanthids/pallets that have propagated since adding the light. Acan, favia that seen to be doing well the acan has a new head as well. My hammers and frog spawn are doing amazing as well the heads on all three of them have filled out very well. My monti cap that I thought was a gibber is coming back slowly and a Duncan (from a different tank and thought to be dead) has grown its five heads out about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch. I love the light so far.

1 A 0% B 1%
2 A 10% B 15%
3 A 15% B 20%
4 A 20% B 25%
5 A 15% B 20%
6 A 0% B 1%

It would help you let us know what lighting you had before the upgrade. Also the dimensions of the tank will help also.

But a good starting point would be peak at 25% and slowly increase by 5%-10% weekly.

My apologies.
I had two fluval marine led's. (Got sold by LFS). I also had a two bulb T5 with one 18000k and what fluval actinic. I have removed all of that.

The tank is a 72gallon, I have mushrooms, a Duncan frag frogspawn zoas and a hammer. In there now. The light is the 300w 43 inch 16k.
