Picked up a rbta last night... Acclimated and added to the tank around 930.... Today it split. Not exactly something that I wanted. Is the any explanation to this? Stress from moving or is it normal.. Here's a pic the phone picks up a lot of blue

No nothing wrong at all. Often times a change in water will incourage them to split. Congratulations you now have twins!!

Your lucky! Sometimes they never do. I've had mine 6 months and nothing. Its fat, huge, and healthy but no split. I know some actually split them with blades but no thanks.

Trick to get them to split is cut way back on feeding then over feed for a month. Also make sure you have your moon lights following lunar table. I used to raise them and would get a split once a month usually it would split twice. One point I had close to 20 in my tank. Now I have switched over to sps and zoas no more in my tank.

Sent from inside the shark tank!

maybe this is a silly question... but are you positive you didnt buy two that were stuck together somehow?
