New rbta

Hello team, wondering if you can provide your feedback about my new rbta. It has been 1 week in my tank now. I guess its happy because its in the same place. My parameters are ammonia and nitrites 0, nitrates 5-10. Phosphates 0 , cal 420, mag 1270

Hopefully she it will place in front of your tank it has big bubbles

Wow amazing i want mine to split also . What is it eating? And how much?

I never feed them directly. When I feed the tank mysis, I turn off flow and put it in directly above them...so they always get some.

Ok ok well i will do the same maybe mine it will be splitting shrotly. Mi salinity is in 1.024 is this ok?

It looks fine to me. Just leave him be, he'll find his happy place.

Flow and lighting has allot to do with them bubbling up. I have mine on the top of my lr with @350Par and med flow. I feed mine 1-2x a week frozen shrimp. My clown keeps it tidy It stays bubbled up all of the time, so far

Btw i have 2 ocellaris but they never get close to it . Do you what i need to do to my clowns host in the bta?

Just give it time, they will either host or they wont. I don't know of any way to encourage them. It took mine a few weeks to host.

Thanks, I've had it and the clown fish for about 10 years now. She will defend it to the death.

It looks good to me. Give it time it'll move. I saw on here once about these nem mounts. I wish I could find them again I'd love to buy some.

My clown fish want nothing to do with my RBTA, the little suckers would rather host my palys. Someone told me the rose colored one sting the clowns, and that they prefer the green colored ones ? Mine has split also but I was directly feeding it when I fed my fish, I was excited at first till I had seen other reefers complaining how the bta can become a plague, now I only feed indirectly.
