Hello,

I just picked up a RBTA. I floated the bag for 15 minutes and put the RBTA right in. It’s near the bottom of my tank in the middle section on a rock. It was inflated pretty big about the size of a hand when I bought it. Pictures below:

Here’s the same specimen in my tank after about 30 minutes:

Does it look like it’s doing well for just being introduced?

Looks pretty settled in. I turned my lights back to its regular schedule and it moved out and up the rock a little bit. Fed it some Reef Chili and it took it pretty well. It’s inflated and expanded to almost its original size. Had to move my Blue Enhinata and Field of Dreams. In case it decides to move a bit more. Now, just waiting for my clowns to “find it”.

So, as an update it’s been about 5 days and I’ve been monitoring my nem. I’ve kept reading that a “closed mouth” is a sign of health. Since I’ve had my nem it deflated and “pooped” once. The mouth has been slightly open and never tightly closed as suggested by other threads and comments on the forums. It isn’t inside out nor gaping. Is this still ok? Pictures taken about 2 hrs after lights on today. Sorry my first nem ever and want to make sure it survives and not nuke my tank. I appreciate the help and feedback.

It looks fine, I would just keep an eye out for it possibly moving up or out more for more light as it adjusts, and you may need to move a coral or 2 if it does, or as it grows and expands

Looks to be adjusting nicely so far and it appears to like your water parameters and lighting. Keep up the great work and please advise of any changes.

Thank you for the feedback and guidance. The Nem has moved up and out since placing it in the tank and I had to completely move my two SPS corals. I will definitely keep an eye out and keep monitoring it.
