New Red Sea 170

Welcome to Reef2Reef!!! There are several products like CaribSea PurpleUp that can help accelerate the process once the tank begins to mature. Good luck on whatever direction you choose!

I have even better idea, get "Pico Package" from Tampa Bay Saltwater. It consists of bit of Live rock, some sand and hermits and snails. It will increase your biodiversity and seed with not only coralline algae but hopefully sponges, tunicates and other meiofauna.
You can also get larger package if you want.

Welcome !
I like Busch docks suggestion, but I also got scrapings of Coraline from my LFS. And don’t worry it’ll just be a matter of time before you cursed the fact that all you have to do is find a time to scrape it off your front glass, smile

Welcome! Glad you joined. Already great suggestions for corralline in this thread. I went with the Algae Barn product. People who have seen my tank both in photos and in person have commented on the color (not that it seems that unusual compared to others corralline colors - but they had me at "pink" lol):

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread under Forum > Member Aquariums and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

This might help you find people local to you in Mill Creek:

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:
