New Red Sea 425xl Fish List?

Here is what I am thinking... I am hoping to make this primarily a SPS tank. Red sea reefer 425XL

but I need to have a solid Fish List first... Thoughts?

yellow tang
blue tang
Mystery Wrasse
leopard wrasse
MacNeil’s assessor
blue spotted jawfish
green chromis x 4

The mystery will likely be aggressive to the leopard wrasse.

Blue spotted jawfish need cooler temps than most reef tanks are kept.

Thanks TJ! I really was hopoing for the mystery and the blue spotted jawfish but if its going to cause issues then I definitely need to reevaluate the livestock... Any other suggestions?

Yellow coris wrasse, pink margin fairy wrasse, tiger jawfish.

Would a rhomboid or flame wrasse be a possibility?

Yeah both of those would be great. Just have a lid on the tank.

I agree skip the blue spotted jaw fish.

Yeah... I think I will opt out of the blue spotted Jawfish but d*&^%$ is that isnt an amazing fish!

I have a 425xl. I passed on the green chromis group, since they always die off, with just one left. I also think the tank is too small for the blue tang, especially if you get the yellow tang.

I have a flasher wrasse and a melanurus wrasse. They get along well. The melanurus does go after smaller snails now and then.

I do love the melanarus! I just wish they didnt knock out snails or hermits. I really am shooting for the "perfect" tank mates for sps and one another

I was looking at the canary wrasse but I just dont find it all that attractive... I know I should look at husbandry more than anything but I want to really want as many functional "wow" fish as possible

There is mote than the canary wrasse for small Halichoeres. H. iridis, leucurus, timorensis, trispilis, melasmapomus, melanurus, chrysotaenia, cosmetus, biocellatus, claudia.
