Hi Guys,
Firstly may i say i am back to reefs after 15 years, kept Mixed reef sps montis and acros very well for 18 years.
Anyway. I have a new ( 2month running ) Red Sea Max E 260 with sump upgrade / Reefer Skimmer / ReefMat and the usual stuff.
Question is ... I have been struggling to get the skimmer to skim.. either nothing or a small turn to the right and 10 mins later its full off water. I have a small fish with clean up and feed 4 times a day.
Parras ammonia 0.0 Nitrite 0.0 Nitrate -0.0 Ph 8.2 Temp 26 salinity 1.025
Am I missing something ? Albeit with the REEFMAT working fine, the water is just not fully crystal clear with small particals ??
