They have been released.

Does anyone have any experience with these new models, and what's your impression.

Bump! We just saw these in a LFS and are interested as well. The store owner said the motors are sicce so that seems like a plus.

Looked at on today, the only thing I don't like is the base plate seems and feels like cheap plastic and one little slip it'll break.

my only and biggest complaint is.. for thos who dont wanna drain their skimmer cups thru the hose... the cup itself is very hard to get off the skimmer body.. when it's full it's nearly impossible to get off w/o spilling skimmate back into the tank

Problem solved. Works great on o-rings. The large tube will last you a lifetime.

I'll give it a whirl! thanks man. I resorted to loosely setting the cup on the body and turning it up a notch to compensate.. seems to be working fine. I'm try the grease tho!

I use it to grease the o-rings on my rodi. I originally bought it for that and remembered what a pain my skimmer cup was to remove.
