New reef leds for shrinking 180 reef - why?

why do my anemone and corals still shrink in the sun? Are my schedules ok please?

I don't see anything wrong with your schedule but what are your PAR levels and what is the history of your current setup and how long have your animals been in this system?

Thanks Tim - yeh im using red sea x2 reef led 50's - one at each end. The PAR is water surface = 500umol/m2/sec and PAR at depth of 50 cm = 100 umol/m2/sec. Previously I had running x2 T5 at 45 watt and livestock loved this.. I have been running for 30 days or so with acclimatisation period on main led still running.

Oh livestock 18 months...maybe I need to move the corals and anemones further up to the surface? - ill send pics shorlt!!
