I posted this in the new reefers area and didn't have any luck, trying again here.

So I'm starting my first reef tank and have a few questions about my build.

I currently have a 30G fowlr (+a bubble tip), but want to dive into raising some reef.
I plan on getting the ML90609
https://www.amazon.com/Marineland-ML90609-Portrait-Aquarium-5-Gallon/dp/B00O8SZTKQ
And use it for macro, inverts, and mini $5-$10 frags from my lfs.

I know that a 5G is going to be difficult, but I want something small, and something that requires daily attention.

My questions are about the lighting and inverts. Is the lighting enough on this tank to care for reef? Or will I need to add a wave point 6inch? I will be adding only hardy frags at first, until I have had some time and feel confident with my abilities to try harder corals.

As far as the inverts go, do I need to spot feed everything? In my fowlr, the fish and any excess food create enough food for all my inverts and I don't have to spot feed. Does the leftover food from feeding the reef create Enough food for shrimp, crabs, and snails? Do I need to ghost feed (so to speak)?

Also, will I need a powerhead on this tank? I have a 530gph but I'm worried the it will be too strong for a 5G. If I do need one, does anyone know of any tiny power heads that won't take up a bunch of space in this tiny tank?

Thanks in advance!

The ML90609 has an integrated pump, I'm just not sure if I need something for flow. I have a powerhead right now, but 530 gph seems high, and it's a bulky for the small tank.

Rio makes a small pump, also maybe you can find a used auto top off pump?

I read this wrong the first time, sorry. I'm looking at the rio pumps now, very affordable. Thanks!
