New reef tank

Proud to show the new build tank in my new place in the Netherlands. Finally I had the space and money, but a new tank does come with its challenges.

Jebao pumps are failing after first feed mode test. Amazing.

Nice tank! I also use Jebao pumps and out of two PP8s two SW4s and an SW2, I've only had a problem with the SW2. The motor is shorted out or something. Everything looks good with my ohm meter, but when I plug it into the control box, the motor won't spin and the lights on the box go out. Unplug the motor and the lights come back on. They are cheap pumps, and I expected some problems with the Chinese quality control... over all I am still pleased with the ones I have working.

I hope you get your problems resolved and I'm looking forward to seeing your tank progress!

Very nice dropoff tank! Jebao's can be hit or miss sometimes, but still overall not bad for what we pay for them. I have two RW15's in my DT. Been going strong since 2015. Knock on wood.

Take some time in the near future and post a build thread. Would love to see more of your system!

Bought the Tunze Tubelle which solved the flow problem. I have a timer on it so when the moon phase starts the wavemaker stops and the only flow from return pump. Fish seem to enjoy it.
Also the better flow decreased the algea

Light rewired and now working better (not ideal yet) will setup a build thread
