I am having trouble with the Eheim heater. It is not starting up when it should. Initially I thought it is just a calibration issue. Calibration did not help. Then I changed the outlets to which it was connected. Nothing worked.
Whats weird is that the heater starts if I give it a firm tap!!! Called the online retailer and requested a replacement. This is the second Eheim for me which is not working as it should. I guess Eheim's quality control is not what it used to be in the past.

I acually have a ehiem temporary for now i have it hookedup to my apex , have a 2 degree flux tho the cobalt neo would be perfect for your tank

I am thinking about Cobalt Neo too.

I managed to setup the ATI fixture and hang it using brackets.



Now I have to find a way to hide that wire from the fixture. Wish it was wireless power.

Had a big order placed with BRS with all apex stuff and pumps. Seems they have messed up the delivery but promised to make it good in another two days. Hoping for the best.

In the mean time, I have been working on some cheap plywood furnitures to hide ATO (I dont want to use Red sea provided ATO) and other aquarium stuff. I will provide pictures, when I am done.

Lol u got those same brackets from homedepot and threw a shelf ontop , i ran my wire down the back and driplooped

I got the brackets from amazon. Local homedepot has max 18" brackets. But i needed a min of 20". So i had to get them online.
I didn't actually use shelfs to hang it. Rather i used those holes at the end of the brackets to run the wire through. Also used the ati provided hanging kit attachment knobs to attach the ends of the wires with the brackets.

I have thought about putting it inside the wall. But i do not like drilling holes in the wall. So i was thinking of using some kind of white cover on the wire. I have to go to homedepot and look for something suitable.

By the way, my tank finished cycling just few days back. I put in some snails from reefcleaners today.

Just thought I would update my build thread with some pictures.
My tank is still very young. Frags have just started to grow and color up. Some are still brown. Let me know your thoughts.

I don't know the name of that acro. I got it in an auction in reef2reef few weeks ago from Gary. Its a nice one!
