I have decided to get back in the hobby after being out for about 10 yrs. I decided to go with the Reefer series because of the clean integration of all the components. The one weakness for me was the sump so I traded it in for a Trigger Sapphire 26. After seeing Broadwell's posts on his incredible build, I decided to hard plumb everything and really wanted to color coordinate with the sapphire sump. I will say Mr. Broadwell has much more skill than I but I am happy with the results.

I have set up a coral quarantine tank as well that will convert to a frag tank eventually, it's an integrated JBJ 28g with an Eshopps skimmer and a Kessil 160

The main tank has a M1 pump with EShopps skimmer and grye pump for internal circulation. The tank was the deluxe model so it has the two AI Hydra 26 HD lights.

Started stocking, have a pair of black photon clowns, a very nice torch from joeknowsreefs and a nice frogspawn from lfs

Matt, I'm setting up my Reefer 250 as well, and got the Trigger 26 sump so I would have a built-in refugium and have a Vectra M1 as well. I'm brand new to the idea of hard plumbing a tank, and am having trouble figuring out exactly what goes where, and what kind of connections you used to get your plumbing all set up.

Any chance I could see some more shots of your sump where things connect to the Red Sea drains, as well as how things fit into the sump itself? I'm sorry if that's a pain, I'm just having a trouble, and I saw that you have much of the same equipment that I'm trying to connect!

Thank you so much -- I would really appreciate it :)

I'm sorry I just saw your post...looked at your thread and I like your set up that you had going for the hard return. Red sea was very good about getting me the connectors but of course that was pre hurricane. Your equipment choice was very similar to mine with basically the choices I had come down to...radion vs hydra, and I went with two gyre pumps instead of the eco tech. Bought the same R.O. unit as well. Good luck and if there is something I can help with let me know.

Sorry not the best quality but these were still shots from a video I recorded last night.
Shout out to Austin Aqua Farms for the awesome Acan colonies.
