Hi all, I had a 450l tank around 5 years ago and have decided to jump back into the hobby.

I have purchased another 450l Evolution Aqua 4ft tank as a complete setup and I am moving it this weekend.

I was wondering if anyone would be able to help identify the contents of of tank, it seems overrun by green anemones.

Thanks

So hard to see and when zoom in it gets blurry. My guess is its full of green hairy mushrooms.

It's home now, what a job that was moving it.

Got some better photos also have a larger flat soft coral I am unsure on what that is. Thanks

Yes lots of gsp looks like.which until seen last picture once you got home my guess was going be lots of gsp or green hairy mushrooms.

But looking at your last pictures again I'm kinda confused as looks like a foot attached to the rockwork like I outlined in yellow, maybe something like a majano anemone but it's got colour of gsp but foot of a anemone and rather than a matt of gsp looks like lots of circular bright green things so really unsure but be interesting to see what more experienced guys and gals say.
And see if some still think hairy mushrooms

Thanks thats helpful. I was thinking the same but when I collected the tank they were on the back of the tank, powerheads etc...it does seem like they have a foot and can move around the tank. Thanks

Sorry forgot to post picture of outline but you and others would of zoomed in and seen what I was mentioning anyway but just to complete here ya go ha ha ^_^

Btw some people collect majona anemones, so if anyone local to you wants them or some of them then could give away for free or maybe they even give you a small amount of money .
Or if someone further afield can pay for shipping if you started a thread on r2r offering them for free but pay for shipping.
Now here the but... most consider these as a pest anemone if are majona anemones so don't be surprised if get no interest but I only mention this as sone set up " pest " tanks and majona's are usually considered less invasive than say aiptasia bit ovniously conditions in tank who had it before you the conditions was right for them to explode in numbers or just populated it over many years idk

It looks like you have some leather coral, some mushrooms and a lot of Green Star Polyps.
