Hi friends
I'm in the stage of purchasing everything on my check-list and have decided to use the 'ZEOvit' system, however, I don't think it supplements cal/mag/alk so what is the best 'Two-Part' system/product(s) out there in terms of effectiveness without any consideration to the cost as I don't want cost to play any part in my selection
I'll just add some other info down below in the case I'm asked for more info before being recommended products
The tank itself is a Reefer 3XL 900 litre/240 gallon including both the sump reservoir and separate refugium which is about 180 litre/48 gallon
The refugium will be bare for maximum cleanliness with nothing but chaeto and a breeding ground for microorganisms
Due to the ZEO keeping nutrients low, the chaeto will likely be made redundant in terms of nutrient absorption but it will house my pod colony and act as a backup filter if anything, I'll be using the H160 Tuna Flora LED Algae Grow Light to keep the chaeto alive in terms of compensation due to lower than optimal nutrients being available for the chaeto
All the usual stuff like skimmer/socks/roller/RO and several automation systems has been organised and am using Red Sea's Coral Pro Salt
I don't think my selection of fish/corals would play a part in being recommended products so I'll leave them out unless specifically asked to, although I will be using 2mm live aragonite (white) as substrate @ 1" deep for cleanliness but I do know my creatures may prefer 2" deep (sand sifters such as snails/crabs/pistols and goby's) so I'm still trying to decide on that, your thoughts?
I'm extremely new at all of this so I'm open to basically any and all help that will supplement me in between browsing the forums and doing my own research, so if I'm missing anything or you think I should consider adding/removing things I'd really appreciate that, thanks!
Summary
- what two-part system(cal/mag/alk) to use with the complete zeovit system?
- 1" or 2" deep substrate?
- any other recommendations?
