Hi all,

I'm from Williston, FL. I've kept CA, SA cichlids all of my life. Also a couple saltwater fish only tanks back in the day of underground filters! (And before the internet)

Just converted my home office prison to a fish room refuge. So in addition to my 55g freshwater Mbuna tank I've added a IM lagoon 25 (freshly cycled with 2 new Clownfish) and am setting up a SCA 90g PNP next week.

These will be my first reef tanks and all the new tech is exciting.

Really loving the IM lagoon, so easy to work on! I'm going to post build threads for both tanks to get much-needed support and suggestions.

I've lurked several forums but picked R2R because of the friendly vibes here.

Lastly a shout out for Nicole at Ocala Reef who has been huge help to me!

Glad to be onboard,

Paul

Thanks spyder813, we have similar background for sure.

I kept Discus decades ago, even had a surprise spawning but the fry didn't make it. And I currently have a 55g mbuna tank as well, overstocked demasoni + msobo maguna. It's going to get interesting when they mature. Have about 10 of each and hoping the "overstock so they don't zero in on one male" strategy works.

Wow, great idea overstocking to avoid aggression. That should be a nice looking tank. I only have 14 Mbunas mixed that may I keep or sell depending if I go with saltwater fish only.
