Hi everyone,

I already post a few questions and realized that I haven't posted here yet.

I am a new reefer from Quebec, Canada. I just ordered a Waterbox AIO 50.3 last week so it might take a while to arrived. But in the meantime I started gathering all the necessary equipment. I went the AIO route because budgetwise and space wise it made sense to me.

I have been doing high tech heavily planted freshwater aquarium for a few years now. Currently have 2 and a QT. Both tanks are pretty much self-sustaining now and required minimal maintenance except weekly water change. But along this journey I made some pretty catastrophic mistakes and I am hoping to use this forum to avoid these kind of mistakes now.

My goal with my new reef tank is to build something similar, a perfectly balanced ecosystem. So I might have a lot of questions in the next few weeks, and even more questions when it will be time to add living inhabitants in there in a few months.

So excited to start! See you around guys

hi welcome to the reef going to love it here!!
lots of fun/info/fun/help/fun.... :)

welcome I am not new to reefing just took a break .I got a little box of reef bugs to feed my corals well there was red flat worms in it and they took over my 500 liter tank in no time at all. Please if you do not know what is in it do not put it in your tank.

Welcome. This will be a great place to smooth out the bumps in the road of reefing. But it will be fun. I was in to it heavy about 20 years ago and then took a 10 year break. Back now about 6 months. So many advances. Enjoy the ride.

Welcome to R2R.

IMO there is stuff that the skimmer pulls out that the macro algae may not so make sure to supplement with regular water changes. Good luck!
