New Reefer here! Gold Hammer Happy or dying?

Hi All! New reefer here. I purchased an Aussie Gold hammer a couple of weeks ago. I’m not sure if it’s happy or dying. I was going to move it around in my tank but don’t want to stress it out more than I need to. Any advice would be appreciated. TIA

I just thought the tentacles are supposed to be really close/tight together. I wasn’t sure if this is the start of them starting to die off. Glad it looks healthy.

Nope, they are actually happier if they are more open. Tight means they are a little grumpy.

Once it grows into a colony and the tentacles get Shmooshed together in a way, of course they will be closer together, however right now it just looks like it’s fully extended, which is almost always a good sign!
