Welcome to R2R and reefing. Lots of knowledgable and helpful people here who will support and advise you when needed.hello fellow reefers! I've recently joined the saltwater community starting in February of this year. I picked up a 32 biocube and have done some modifications to it. Since then I've been hooked on this saltwater hobby and have been in and out of my lfs at least twice a week since I've started. My addiction has grown in the hobby and recently purchased a Redsea reefer 250. This is a very expensive hobby but I'm hoping to keep if budget friendly as well. I hope to learn all the tips and tricks this community has to offer.

Welcome to R2R Bud! Gotta love those biocubes, been looking at them myself recently. You can absolutely keep it budget friendly in this hobby, it can be difficult and trying but it is possible. Just requires some research and self control (a point at which I fail miserably LOL). Hope to see a build thread on that Reefer 250!hello fellow reefers! Lol patience is DEFINITELY a virtue in this hobby. Even though you and everyone else has broke this rule so many times. You'll learn through hard lessons that impatience will cost you, both in headache and pocketbook LOL. I know its costed me several times loldwair, thanks for having me. The biocube now belongs to my girlfriend. She wants to turn it into a zoa garden. I have a LFS here that sells them fairly cheap so we're in and out of the store at least once a week just to see their new inventories. Currently my Reefer 250 is going through "new tank syndrome". The water parameters are reading good but I'm waiting for the water to clear up. The water is not crystal clear like it should so I'm assuming there may still be some bacterial bloom activities going on. I think I'm the wrong person to be in this hobby, each time I go to my LFS I'm told to just have patience with the process and I am the worst at patience. Now I just have to let mother nature do it's thing.
