Welcome to R2R, Jordan. I too am a returning veteran of both fresh and saltwater aquariums. Got out of the hobby several years ago because of issues with my house (mold remediation) rather than the aquariums themselves. I'm currently in the throes of cycling a 32 gallon Biocube as well.
