New Reefer, new coral, SG acclimation.

So I picked up some coral I had on hold from a local reefer.

1 Yuma
1 Watermelon Zoa
1 Hammer

My current salinity is a little low. At 1.021 for cycling purposes.

In the tank currently is some GSP and a Ricordea Mushroom that are doing OK so far.


I want to increase my salinity but understand this has to be done slowly.

My question. How can I best acclimate the new corals while considering my old ones ?
Would a Drip acclimation for an hour be ok for now and once introduced to the DT a 1 point SG increase daily ?

Sooooo, are you still cycling or not? If not, raise the salinity. If you're still cycling, see if you can have your friend hold on to your corals until your tank is ready.
Placing new corals into a different environment is stressful enough. Placing them into a significantly different environment, then changing that environment again is even more stressful.

I think the cycles pretty much done. It's been a few weeks with multiple doses of Bacteria. Fritz900 & Dr Tim's One & only with the ammonium.

No friends here in TX . I'm new to the state lol
