New to saltwater aquariums, just bought an AIO 12 Gallon tank, and haven’t started placing any corals or fish in yet. Any good beginner fish and coral to start with?

Welcome!!

Fish we come down to personal preference for that tank size, and if you want a peaceful tank/reef safe tank... It will be a while before you can add corals so it will give you lots of time to pick out ones you like, there are tons of soft/lps corals that are great for beginners.

Welcome!
Clowns are always a good easy start.
Definitely take it slow as you learn, make sure you're testing regularly so you know your system. Depending on your system and lighting you can start with easy softies like mushrooms and Zoas/Palys.

Welcome and thanks for joining...

am a big fan of a juvenile royal gramma, neon gobies, tailspot blenny (if you have a lid) small entry level clown pair to get started

zoas or a bit of green star polyp (on its own rock in the sand - it will spread)

and GO SLOW - sure you know that
