Hello, Well the tank isn't really upside down, interesting that the image isn't 180` either? Anyway, finally started up my system after looking for a deal on a tank. This is a 150 g. duel overflow with durso standpipes and 3/4" standard returns.(Craigslist buy for 200.00) I've placed 160 lbs of Pink Figi sand and only about 50 lbs of rock. The three pieces in the middle are live rock from LFS. (Blue Aquarium in Atlanta, Ga). I've been checking water parameters everyday and everything seems stable. I had a problem with the ELOS brand ammonia checker and will be contacting them, all my test return brown/tan results. LFS got another ammonia checker and it seems to be kinda low but not zero. I've been using stability to cycle tank ? I also ordered about 25lbs of live rock coming from Florida on-line dealer bukani i believe is the rock ordered. will the new addition of rock and continued use of STABILITY help cycle tank.

Welcome to R2R! Stability isn't really a tank cycler as much as a bactieria helper. That may be why you aren't seeing ammonia get to high. Get yourself a raw piece of shrimp, uncooked, and place it in the tank. Once you see it skim over, trust me you will know, pull it out with a net. Test ammonia and watch your levels.

Good looking tank....gravity defying even! lol

Welcome. :-)

Any one have a idea why the picture is upside down ?
