Hey everyone, just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. Le from Nebraska here. Been reefing now since January 2018. 90g DT with a 55g three section sump. Simplicity 240 skimmer, running a total of three media reactors containing ROX 0.8 Carbon, phosbane/phosphate remover in the second and Seachem Matrix in the last. Tank sits at about 78 degrees, 8.3 pH, 20ppm nitrates, .025 phosphates, don't test ALK, calcium is 450-500, Mag is between 1500-1800 and I'm Dosing 150ml of Kalkwasser daily due to it being a mixed softie/LPS/SPS reef tank. Lighting is a 4 bulb T5HO fixture augmented with a Current USA Loop LED light. I don't test regularly for chasing numbers, but moreso for the trends. No water changes and I'm using treated tap (no RO/DI for cost reasons) and the tank is just cruising right along. Always welcome to any constructive criticism.

IT guy by nature, retired military veteran by blood.

Welcome to R2R Le and thanks for introducing yourself. Lots of friendly people here with tons of knowledge. One thing I must ask of you is a better choice of your avatar picture. This is a family friendly forum and profanity is not allowed :) Thanks and again welcome to R2R!

Working on trying to figure out why it didn't update my current picture from Facebook as I connected via Facebook and that's not my current picture.

Sorry ya'll, i figured it out. Was not my intent, as I said, I connected via Facebook but that avatar was a previous picture I was using. My current picture is of my service dog I recently had to put down.
No worries :)

Welcome to r2r, I’d test your alk at lest you know where your number is. Also nice looking tank and thank you for your service! Sorry about your partner.

I tested it using an API test, and i'm not sure I believe the results. I've tested it several separate times and have gotten the same results...... 18dKH. That's one of the reasons I don't test for it anymore, 18dKH can't be right, nothing would be living in my reef tank.
