newbie 2 also a college student and just got my first saltwater tank (biocube 29). Used to keep alot of freshwater when I was younger like 8 - 15. Hope you succeed! I'm having a rough start right nowI've got about 2 years as an adult in the freshwater hobby under my belt now, i'm a college student. and i'm now fascinated by the saltwater world. I used to be daunted just by the thought of live plants in a freshwater tank, but now I've got some experience and am looking to dabble in what I have long considered too much a challenge for myself: saltwater fish and reef keeping. I am currently researching things to hopefully be able to apply maybe a year or so down the line in my first saltwater tank. I am absolutely captivated by mantis shrimp and clownfish, and I hope to one day also have a mandarin dragonete (tho I know they need lots of pods and a well established tank). I'm excited to journey into this new, complicated hobby![]()
