Hello!
I am a pretty new Refer but learning quickly!
Long story short (ish) We got my daughter a 5g tank for Christmas, and tried to keep GlowFish alive...After the first couple, my daughter didnt want to wake up to deap fish, so we moved it down to my office, and that's how it all began.
I really liked have a tank so I went down to my lfs and they had a sale on a 40g complete (Auqutop) setup, so I got it. I really wanted a Lionfish but my tank was too small, so I got a Dwarf Lion. But with all my searching, I couldn't get him to eat
so he lasted about a week. I also started with a set of Maroon Clowns and a Banded Moray. everyone did great except the one fish I wanted...A Lion. So, i got talked into upgrading to a used 120, which I was able to trade almost straight across. Except for all the pluming (sump/skimmer/ect) Now, I have a Black Lionfish, a Red Lionfish, a Long Horned Cowfish, a snowflake eel along with my banded eel...
But I am addicted, so now I'm upgrading to a 180 with all the bells and whistles. I am making the sump area super clean and "show-worthy". I will add more pictures as it comes along. I am currently having the stand built out of metal.
And, as for my daughters tank, we gave up on Glowfish and she upgraded to a 22g with 2 super fat goldfish
