So I was finally able to plumb in my 50B Display Refugium...I have a few plants, but nothing is in there as of now.

I currently have the garden variety Chaeto, which will be in a seprate chamber, Flame Algae and Blue Octodes. Looking into others, but I know the next thing I want is some sort of ground cover, like a grass of some sort.

Yea it took me awhile to muster up the courage to drill the floor. But it's def worth it.

what return pump are you using and what size pipe? it is nice to have it in the basement. I have 8ft of straight pipe from the basement to my 60 cube

I'm using a mag 9.5 with 3/4 inch PVC. I also have the return split off to feed any reactors that I need. It's more than enough flow to feed the DT, and 3 or 4 more reactors. I used only two 45's when creating the return pipe so it helps with not reducing flow.
