What's the best way to seed with a new refugium? Should I use Garf Grunge or Indo-Pacific refugium start up; or is there something better y'all can recommend?

Thank you!

I don't use either but maybe someone on the Squad can provide you with a viable option...

Can't help either. I like to be able to clean my sumps refugium section on occasion so I don't use a product like this.

I've never heard of either of those products. My refuge is barebottom - just rock and macros

Either will work perfectly. I would go with Garf. That's thirty years plus years of collecting from across the country and the world.
Also Sally Joe has some great shipping deals right now. Corals too.
Check them out on Facebook.
They are kind of ledgendary for a reason.

@Brew12 that would be a lot of diversity for your tank. Like a LOT.

I'll be putting an order in soon. A note. For both you'll want a Dsb of sorts in the fuge for the worms. Myself I'll be dumping it in the two dts and the sump.

Rocks, macro, and lighting is all I have in my fuge. I would never add anything on the bottom, because if my system is going to develop cyano or other bad stuff, it happens in my fuge long before it will happen in my tank. I want to be able to empty my fuge and clean it out well when needed.

I actually wet-vac out the bottom of my fuge every few months.
