I just wanted to give a thumbs up to MRC. I had been debating a return pump upgrade for a couple years, never found one that convinced me it was what I was looking for, which was absolute dependability and a long life. I have long been loyal to Iwaki and I still am, they are a major industrial pump company with very high quality and spare parts available. The draw back is, if you go big, they use a tremendous amount of power. I had gotten by with 2 Iwaki 20RLXTs on my 265. I had been considering a lot of options to double my flow but had generally been leery of going DC as DC pumps just can only last so long, electronics have finite life spans and something this mission critical is not worth the risk and the best ones cost so much a spare is not a feasible option. About a month ago I got an email ad for the new MRC 4200, a new smaller model. I have an MRC sump and to my surprise they save the build files and were able to supply the pump and a template to drill the new hole in the sump for the bulkhead. I am very happy with the pump. It uses a Marathon motor that is made in Mexico, the other parts are US made and it is very quiet and has more than doubled my sump flow. I have gone from around 1000 gph to about 2500 gph. Generally, I am not a fan of high flow in sumps, but given the size of the sump, it was needed and has made a significant improvement.

Good looking pump!! They are a copy of reeflo but supposed to be more reliable and better quality overall (seal leakage) than the Reeflo line. I am looking at the 6200gph to replace/backup my reeflo hammerhead return when the seal starts to leak. Keep us updated for longer term reliablity and thoughts please!!

Will do, yes, the Reeflo was one I considered but the seal sold me on the MRC. I will let people know if anything goes bad, outside of only being able to get purple primer which I hate, the install was leak free and a success so so far I am very happy.
