So i got a 5st RO/DI, 50gpd off EBay and i added a second 50gpd membrane so in total 100gpd
My inlet water is from a hose and is 60psi. It runs through the first 3 sediment and carbon filters
After the last carbon filter the water runs to a booster pump at what psi i dont know as the gauge needle is bouncing to fast to even see.
From there the water runs to the two RO membranes then recombined to the last DI stage.
Waste water is also ran out into the flower bed.
My new TDS meter says 50ppm incoming from the hose and 0 tds combined from both membranes.
When running i am getting 5 gallons pure water and 4 1/2 gallons waste water
The waste water line has a restricter with 300 printed on it.
I also checked the TDS meter with water from my refrigerator that has a small filter on it and the reading was 81ppm.

So after all this do you think it is working ok or do i need to look at anything?

That seems like way too much product water for waste water. Check out the brs video about dual membranes. I believe that 3 to 1 waste to product is normal and 2 to 1 is awesome (but don't quote me on the specifics). If your restrictor is too restrictive, you can foul the membranes early. Check their video, it may require another reatrictor or something? That just sounds too good to be true.

Thats why im asking. It does seem to be to good to be true, but i must admit it did feel like i invented something like perpetual motion until i realized this cant be right:rolleyes:
