I got tired of scooping water out of the Rubbermaid trash cans so I upgraded to a 65 gallon Norwesco container. Now just turn the valve and out comes the water.

I plan on ordering this same tank from Tractor supply.. I attempted to order it from the manufacturer in MN and it was $99 for the tank, $198 shipping. Tractor Supply will have one sent to the store for $199

I got mine from Green Concepts in Gresham Oregon, they carry all kinds of barrels, even wood barrels. I brew beer so I will be back for a conical shaped container for large beer batch brewing and something for bulk grain storage.

Years ago I saw a design on another reef forum site for a conical settling tank for detritus on a reef tank.. It worked on a similar principal as the cyclone dust collectors in a woodshop.. The detritus would stick to the sides of the conical tank and during water changes a few taps on the side of the tank would dislodge it from the interior and flush it right down.. pretty neat setup if one had the room available..
