New RO/DI Unit for Well with Hard Water

I am looking for a new RO/DI unit for aquarium and drinking water in my home.

I currently have an RO/DI system, but several of the components are failing, so I thought it best to replace the entire system with something better.

I am in the Northeast, on a well. I recently had the water tested, so I know some of the incoming parameters.

The pH is good, but the water is very hard so we have a softener.

The incoming TDS is approximately 1200 when it hits the membrane in the current system.

The most I need to produce is probably 50 GPD between drinking and aquarium needs.

What system or set of filters have others used in this situation?

What components are “failing” on your current setup? What don‘t you like about it that you wish was different/better for you?

What else besides TDS do you know about your source water?

I’m on a well here in Florida, and I’ve got so many particulates (sand/and iron) in the water that I have to run a couple prefilters before my booster pump and RO/DI to get the most out of my unit. (I Don’t run a water softner) I also have TDS around 800 out of the well itself. I run 2 mixed bed DI canisters the last one being a silica buster cartridge from spectrapure because I also have silica in my product water if I don’t .

Do you have high concentrations of CO2 in the well water?

Since I posted this, I discovered a hairline crack in my booster pump, so that immediately went to #1. Replacement for that will be here in a couple days, because without it I can't generate 0 TDS water.
