I set up my tank and got it cycled and got some corals in there to make sure it is ok. Added rock flower from other tank to the new tank and placed it. Left one pump on at low power then went to bed when it looked like it was going to attach. 2 days later and have not seen it since. I have turned up all of the sand and looked in pretty much every hole of the rocks. Still nothing

I had one that was being a little turd and moved to an area that gets zero light. I let him do his thing, and now he is absolutely nowhere to be found.

Probably buried deep in a rock hole. Or under a rock. I have one that goes missing for weeks then just shows up randomly.
In my old tank though he never moved. I heard they kinda have personalities so wouldn’t it not hide in this tank as well

When you so find it, one thing you can try to keep it place is to buy a PVC end cap and place that in your sandbed and have the RFA attach to that. RFA's in the bury themselves in the sand with only a little bit of them showing, or they grow on the side of Rock cliffs.

I've got a mushroom that goes from about 2 inch in an hole to right next to right almost every week. It can very clearly not be in the hole but it always goes right back in.

it's the only one of my corals that does it. My rock flower gets annoyed when sponges start growing near it.

The tank is pretty new. Rock flowers aren’t as sensitive as other nems when it comes to new tanks right? And any ideas on when it might come out
