New Rock Flower Anemone

Wanted to share this two colored RFA with some friends who will appreciate how cool it is.

I picked it up from my LFS for a ridiculously good price & am in LOVE. I don’t even know what you would call an RFA like this but I’m so happy to add it to my garden.

I don’t know that there’s a name for it, but it’s pretty cool, I don’t know that I’ve ever seen one with split coloring like that.

I certainly have never seen one like it either but I’m so happy to give it a good home.

Amazing find! Take care of that little guy or gal. Maybe it will make baby bicolor RFAs!

Amazing! Rock flowers are getting so much attention now, and I can't think of a sessile invertebrate that deserves it more. I think that I have seen those available as "two-faced RFAs", but I just can't find any online. I think that it wouldn't be hereditary, but I hope that it is and that it spawns for you!

DO NOT GIVE RETAILERS ANY IDEAS GIVING RFAs DESIGNER NAMES

a $40 RFA would be $150 minimum if it came with a made-up marketing name like "Punk Rock Bubblegum" RFA

They really are incredible. I love my little garden so much and my two Sexy shrimp certainly do as well.

Hi brit.Looking good. What shops do you go to .there is a lot of shops in Chicago . I don't want to waist my time on shops that only carry the basic stuff. I'm looking for shops that carry high quality colored pieces that are reasonably priced.can you help me out?

My faves that are in the city or close north suburbs are Tank It Easy, Old Town Aquarium, Reef Geeks. If you want to go a little farther north, ShoTanks in Mundelein is awesome. Farther west - Gingerbread & Blue Line Coral are in Naperville. All great shops that have their own strengths in my opinion.
Tank It Easy is by far my favorite though. They are really awesome guys and their corals are amazing.
