New rock new things what is it ??

My husband bought a live rock today thinking it was dead...nope it’s alive!!

Some kinda white slime/sponge looking stuff

And these roots have feather like flowers on them what is this? And what kind of live rock is this

The first 2 pics are aptiasia they are bad multiply like crabgrass in your lawn be carful if you mess with them research first before you try to get rid of. the other pics are feather duster they are cool filter feeders beautiful come in lots of different colors.

That is a beautiful Aiptasia anemone, please do yourself a favor and treat ASAP!, there are several methods (Fire Shrimp, Liquid treatment, even torching), please research and act promptly.

I’ll do more research,I figured it was a Aiptasia but I seen on another website it looked like a Take a worm

Thanks for the info,Cool!! I always wanted feather dusters,do they get bigger? Also in the 4th pic you have to zoom in a little there’s this cloudy slime/spongy looking stuff I can’t find anything on it though
