New rock what to do

So my tank finished cycling 2 weeks ago. I got clownfish a week ago. Some people said to add more rock. I just bought 17pounds of rock today from bulkreefsupplies, they say the rock is clean and everything. Do I need to cure the rock or can I add it to my tank today. Someone had mentioned to monitor ammonia after adding rocks, why?

Rinse thoroughly before adding and shouldn't be an issue.

Rinse and add to the tank. No risk of ammonia spike since it’s dry rock.

Two choices.
Rinse and add directly.
Rinse and add to bucket with bacteria for 24 hours then transfer.

Curing and ammonia risks from rock are only if the rock was previously used and has dead matter on it.
