New rock

Hey guys

I have a newly built aquascape for my tank. It is replacing most of the rock in the tank.

I have a 34 gallon tank. I also have marine pure balls in the aio back area.

I’m not sure the best way to introduce the new rock. Should I put the new rock in a bucket with some existing rock for a while to get the bacteria going ? How long? Do I have to add anything else?

Any other approaches that might work?

Put it in with some old rock, in a brute, and a powerhead or 2

And just leave it there for how long ?
