I just bought a RTBA which is about 2 inches in diameter. A little on the pale side but I am feeding it mysis shrimp. My problem is the location the RTBA has chosen is under a rock ledge completely out of the light. The rock ledge is about 4 inches wide and the little guy is tucked way under it as if it doesn't like the MH light.

My question is what should I do if anything to get the RTBA to move? Should i even bother? I am afraid it might die because I know Anemone's need light.

Suggestions are welcome because after three days the guy still is comfortable in the location and i'm getting concerned.

Also what other foods should I feed beside some Mysis?

Thanks in Advance!

If the Anemone wasn't getting proper light it would move. I feeding table shrimp I just chop it up in small chunks and feed it to my anemone.

+1 it will move when/if it wants more light. I feed mine tiny pieces of krill. Some people don't directly feed these little critters at all. Keep us posted!!

I know the RTBA isn't getting proper light because it is under the rock ledge. Its the darkest part of my tank.

The anemone should move to a place that it is comfortable at. I know it stinks but have patience and it will move.

Thanks for the input. I will see where it is tonight and report back.

UPDATE!!!!

It finally came out of the cave and stretched out to the light. HAHA!

Now I need to be consistent with feeding because it needs some color. I believe it is a rainbow bubble tip..

Will my Clowns host that?
